A Good Place to Live!‎‎

This is the best apartment I have lived in since I moved to Savannah 6 years ago. The management is professional and courteous and the rent is not terribly expensive for the area. The location is good, only a few blocks from Forsyth Park and within walking or biking distance to many SCAD buildings. The only complaint I have is that my apartment is not well insulated. In the wintertime cold air comes in under the doors and in any cracks or crevices, and when it rains hard, water gets in. Any other time I get dust, leaves and/or bugs coming in. Luckily the pest control people come and spray about every 3 months. Other than that I've had a very good experience with GG1 and would definitely recommend living here.‎

My husband and I feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered GG1! We have been renting here for 2 ½ years. The management has been off-the-charts on top of things and just as nice as can be. The location is ideal, being able to walk to Kroger, Forsythe Park, many of the SCAD buildings, or just take a stroll up the street to admire the beautiful, historic homes and gardens of the downtown area. We have even walked all the way to River Street to enjoy the atmosphere there. We have never had any complaints about our neighbors and never felt uneasy about the area. Thank you, Green Growth One, for making our Savannah stay a great one!!!‎

I lived here for a year, and it was the nicest apartment I've lived in in Savannah. The management is really approachable and they fix any problems you have with your apartment. They're constantly fixing up the community and the people who live there are a nice mix of families, students, and professionals. GG1 is part of the Bee Safe and Crime Free Housing program, and knowing that everyone living there has passed a background check made me feel so much safer than I have anywhere else in the city. The proximity to Kroger and the Starfish Cafe was also very nice. On top of all this, the pest control guy came on a periodic basis and I NEVER had a roach! It was wonderful! I wouldn't be moving out if I wasn't moving across the country.‎

I actually haven't rented from GG but if they are half as good as they look they're the best place in town. It's like they already know everything wrong with apartments in Savannah and do better in the first place. - Yes, Savannah has a high crime rate -- but these apartments meet safety standards for crime and don't rent to anyone who doesn't pass a criminal background check. - Yes, Savannah has (huge!) bugs -- but these apartments have a preventive pest control policy. - Yes, Savannah is old and a lot of the buildings show wear and tear -- but these apartments are gorgeous and fresh. - These apartments also form a nice little neighborhood with a park for tenants. - And you would think for all that, they would be incredibly expensive -- nope, same price (or less) than some of the shoddy, infested places in town. - The only reason I wouldn't recommend them is because I don't want all the apartments to be rented out by the time I'm ready to sign a lease!
